If you’re new to the Cadence community, you may not realize just how much there is to do right in your own backyard.

Bike Program Share
Exploring the whole of Henderson is easy to do by car, but we suggest getting to know our community through our bike share program! Take a stroll on the Cadence bike trails with your personal bike, or one of the many bikes available to our community members. There’s no better way to feel more connected to Cadence and explore your new home then astride a bike with the whole family.

All the Parks
We take parks seriously! They’re the perfect place for family time, exploration, and a little exercise. That’s why Cadence has more than 450 acres of open space. Take a stroll around our Central Park, check out our 3 dog parks, or invite neighbors out for a gathering at the pavilion.

Cadence Central Park might be the largest open space within the community, but it isn’t the only park around! Need a quick trip outdoors? Take a short walk and check out the many “pocket parks” throughout Cadence.

Cool Off at the Pool
We love our desert community, but if you’re looking for ways to beat the mid-summer heat, we’re here to help. Cadence is home to two splash pads for your young ones and a pool complex for the entire family! Make new friends and cool off at the 2,000 square feet complex!

In the Heart of Henderson

Clark County Museum
Summer vacation fun doesn’t have to be without a little exciting education! We highly suggest the museum to all newcomers, regardless of age. It ideally blends together traditional indoor exhibits and outdoor attractions. It’s the perfect chance to feel connected and learn about the history of Henderson—as well as all of Southern Nevada—from its early mining days to the golden era of casinos. It’s a chance to take a step back in time and experience Henderson in a whole new way.

Henderson Bird Preserve
If you want to learn more about Henderson wildlife, spend a few hours at the Henderson Bird Preserve. It’s a must-see for many of those new to the city. You’ll likely spot many species of desert birds, but if you want to spot the abundant migratory birds that stay here for a short time, save this trip for the fall!

There’s no denying we love our home of Henderson, Nevada. It’s a place where families can escape from the hustle and bustle from our busy Las Vegas neighbor, and cultivates a family-friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
