This December marks the fifth anniversary since Cadence began welcoming residents and families to the Henderson master planned community. To mark the occasion, on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., Cadence will host a Five-Year Celebration with event entry and on-site street parking both free and open to the public.
Located at Cadence Central Park (1125 E. Sunset Rd., Henderson, NV 89011) the Five-Year Celebration kicks off at 11 a.m. with a DJ keeping the energy up, spinning top hits and hosting games and activities throughout the day. Attendees can test their agility ascending a mountain climb wall or shake their nerves descending a zip line above the event grounds.
But first…. take a selfie! The celebration will feature interactive selfie stations to keep everyone from novice photographers to seasoned influencers camera ready: snap a photo while high-fiving a nine-foot stilt walker or with the mysterious hands in front of a high-five wall.
Also, a staple of Cadence community events, several of the city’s well-known and popular food trucks will be selling and serving savory and sweet treats throughout the event. Henderson’s own Gold Mine Tavern will sell brews at a 21-and-over only Beer Garden.
To round out the event, the celebration will also include a fenced off Doggie Zone, hosted by Cadence Animal Hospital – perfect for pups and their humans to want to take a break, grab a drink and relax.
Throughout the community surrounding the Cadence Central Park, Cadence builders including Lennar, Toll Brothers, Woodside Homes, Richmond American Homes and StoryBook Homes will have their model home complexes open, showcasing a variety of home options available.
