Press Release:

Woodside Homes to build 287 homes in Cadence, a 2,200-acre planned community in Henderson

Feb. 19, 2014

HENDERSON, NEV. – The LandWell Company announces the addition of Woodside Homes to its 2,200-acre community, Cadence, in Henderson. Woodside Homes is building several neighborhoods in Cadence and offers home styles not available elsewhere in the Las Vegas Valley.

Woodside Homes is building 119 residences surrounding the Cadence central park, a 50-acre park that serves as the focal point of the community. These homes are rear-loaded, which means the garage entrance will be located towards the back of the home. The homes will also feature patios and decks, which will enable homeowners to take in the views of central park. The homes around the park will range from 2,500 square feet to 3,000 square feet.

Another 168 residences will be built by Woodside Homes that will feature a more traditional look with garages located towards the front of the house. Woodside Homes offers a choice of home elevations to give homebuyers more options when purchasing a new home.

“Cadence will be an open, walkable community with varying home designs. Woodside Homes shares this vision and has some unique plans for homebuyers,” commented Mark Paris, CEO and president of The LandWell Company, which is developing Cadence.

Woodside Homes is developing 18 acres in the Cadence community and will offer varying home styles including single-story plans.

“Woodside Homes is bringing new home designs and floor plans to Cadence that homebuyers will not be able to get elsewhere in Southern Nevada,” said Kent Lay of Woodside Homes. “The designs are unique and will really help Cadence stand out from other communities.”

Cadence, when complete, will have 13,250 homes, 450 acres of open space including a 50-acre central park, 100-acre sports park and 30 acres of trails that will interconnect with regional trails such as the Las Vegas Wash Trail and the River Mountains Loop Trail. Additionally, Cadence will feature Wi-Fi availability in the public parks, a bike share program and many retail locations and office space.

“Cadence is designed with the homeowner in mind and we have been selective with the homebuilders chosen to be a part of this community,” noted Paris. “We want to make sure homebuyers have the best builders to choose from.”

Cadence is located in Henderson, Nev. off Lake Mead Parkway, east of Boulder Highway. More information can be found at www.cadencenv.com, on Facebook or Twitter (@CadenceNV).
