Henderson has a bird viewing preserve located at 350 E. Galleria Drive on the northern side of Cadence; the bird preserve encompasses nearly 140 acres.
Many different kinds of birds come to the bird preserve as it is on the edge of the Pacific Migratory Flyway. This presents great opportunities for birders.
Birds that have been seen at the bird preserve include mallards, Abert’s towhee, roadrunners, warblers, flycatchers, pintail, bufflehead and northern shoveler.
