The city of Henderson and Cadence broke ground on Fire Station 87. The fire station is located at Cadence Crest Avenue and Cadence Vista Drive.
The 11,000-square-foot building will include three apparatus bays, training facilities, equipment and supply storage, and accommodations for up to 10 firefighters.
Fire Station 87 is fully funded by The LandWell Company, developers of Cadence. This includes overseeing the design and construction of the fire station.
Fire Station 87 is scheduled to open in December 2022.
