Press Release:

Richmond American Homes latest addition to Cadence, 2,200-acre planned community

July 2, 2014

HENDERSON, NEV. – Richmond American Homes has purchased two parcels of land in Cadence, the 2,200-acre master planned community being developed by The LandWell Company. Richmond American Homes is building 221 homes on two parcels of land spanning 34 acres.

“The addition of Richmond American Homes to the Cadence community gives prospective homebuyers yet another quality homebuilder to choose from,” noted Mark Paris, CEO and president of The LandWell Company. “The two Richmond American Homes neighborhoods have the added benefit of being close to our future elementary school site and parks, which is great for young families.”

Cadence features four homebuilders – Richmond American Homes, Woodside Homes, Ryland Homes and Lennar – providing a broad cross-section of architecture, square footage and home amenities to homebuyers. Lennar is building an active adult community and is beginning construction on its 17,000-square foot recreation center.

Richmond American Homes will build two neighborhoods in Cadence. The first includes 138 home sites with two-story homes ranging from 1,800 square feet to 2,200 square feet and featuring courtyard entryways.

The second Richmond American Homes neighborhood includes 83 home sites with single-story homes ranging from 2,050 square feet to 2,555 square feet.

Richmond American Homes features ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathrooms, granite kitchen counter tops and maple cabinets. The builder also provides full appliance packages. Paver-stone driveways are also included in Richmond American Homes in Cadence.

Construction will begin later this year with home sales beginning in early 2015.

Cadence, when complete, will have 13,250 homes, 450 acres of open space including a 50-acre central park, 100-acre sports park and 30 acres of trails that will interconnect with regional trails such as the Las Vegas Wash Trail and the River Mountains Loop Trail. Additionally, Cadence will feature Wi-Fi availability in the public parks, a bike share program and many retail locations and office space.

Cadence is located in Henderson, Nev. off Lake Mead Parkway, east of Boulder Highway. More information can be found at www.cadencenv.com, on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/CadenceNV) or Twitter (@CadenceNV).
