Cadence, a 2,200-acre planned community located in the heart of Henderson, is officially open for business and recently celebrated with a “lights on” event. The ceremonial “flick of the switch” took place at Cadence’s new Home Finding Center, which is now open to the public from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekends.
On-site for the celebration were The Landwell Company’s CEO Mark Paris, Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen, Henderson Councilman John F. Marz, Henderson councilwoman Gerri Schroder as well as Southern Nevada homebuilders and real estate professionals.
“The lights are on at Cadence and we’re already showcasing a selection of the magnificent homes and amenities that will serve as Cadence’s backbone,” said Paris. “We invite everyone to come experience Cadence’s unique spirit firsthand and to watch as this community blossoms over time.”
The Cadence Home Finding Center offers home seekers an interactive and approachable journey deep into the various home options the community has to offer. The building itself is bright, open and sleek – featuring modern décor, a state-of-the-art meeting room and intuitive home-finding kiosks.
Adjacent to the Home Finding Center are the newly unveiled model homes from Woodside Homes, which total four different two-story floor plans with three to five bedrooms each. The homes range from 2,700 to nearly 3,600 square feet and start at $395,500. Models from Richmond American Homes, Ryland Homes and Heritage by Lennar are slated for completion in 2015 – though visitors to the Home Finding Center can get a sneak peek well in advance.
The Cadence Home Finding Center is located at 1170 E. Sunset Road in Henderson. From I-215E, take I-215E until it turns into Lake Mead Parkway. Pass through E. Warm Springs Road and the Home Finding Center is on the left at the intersection of Sunset Road and Lake Mead Parkway. For more information about Cadence, call 702-558-9366.
