(Henderson, NV) –Cadence, a planned 2,200-acre community located in Henderson, announced today that its first community pool complex will open summer 2016. The complex, to be located in Cadence’s Central Park, will feature a dedicated drop-off area and arrival plaza, a lap pool and a colorful 2,000-square-foot splash pad for children.
The pool and surrounding community amenities will have unobstructed, panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip, providing a unique and scenic venue for Cadence residents. In addition to the pool complex, future phases of Central Park will include an expanded children’s play area, a dog park and other amenities, based on feedback from Cadence residents.
“Our views are unparalleled. Cadence residents will now be able to take them in during a day at the pool,” said Cheryl Persinger, vice president of marketing of The LandWell Company, developer of Cadence. “Cadence will be the place to be for a day of fun in the sun.”
In addition to the pool and forthcoming additions to Cadence’s Central Park, the park currently features play structures for children, a splash pad, picnic areas and walking trails.
Currently, Cadence features 18 model homes for prospective homebuyers to tour from builders Richmond American Homes, Ryland Homes and Woodside Homes. Models at Heritage by Lennar, an active adult community, are also underway. Homes at Cadence start in the mid $200s, range in size from three- to seven-bedrooms and may include such design enhancements as a casita, rooftop deck, outdoor fireplace or multi-generational suite.
Cadence, when complete, will have 13,250 homes, 450 acres of open space including a 50-acre central park, 100-acre sports park and 30 acres of trails that will interconnect with regional trails such as the Las Vegas Wash Trail and the River Mountains Loop Trail.
