HENDERSON, NEV. – The Nevada Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (NVASLA) honored real estate developer The LandWell Company and landscape architecture firm Design Workshop for its collaboration on the newly opened Cadence community in Henderson. Cadence was recognized as the 2014 “Project of the Year” and received the Highest Honor Award in the Analysis and Planning category.
The awards were part of NVASLA’s Pink Flamingo Landscape Architecture Awards, which take place annually to celebrate people and projects on the forefront of local landscape architecture. Cadence was one of six winning 2014 projects to receive awards, in addition to the distinguished Project of the Year accolade. According to the NVASLA, The LandWell Company and Design Workshop impressed the judges with the scale and integrity of project.
The Cadence Home Finding Center is open from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekends, and is located at 1170 E. Sunset Road in Henderson. From I-215 E, continue until it turns into Lake Mead Parkway. Pass through E. Warm Springs Road and the Home Finding Center is on the left at the intersection of Sunset Road and Lake Mead Parkway.
