About the Henderson Symphony Orchestra

The Henderson Symphony Orchestra’s (HSO) mission is to promote classical music appreciation to a diverse audience, through performance, educational outreach, and artistic collaborations.

We believe that classical music is for everyone and we welcome emerging artists, seasoned professionals, and lifelong learners from our diverse community to audition for our ensemble. We are committed to the creation of inclusive programs that provide opportunities and break down barriers between people and classical music.

Led by Music Director Alexandra Arrieche, the Henderson Symphony Orchestra is the Silver State’s only community symphony orchestra that has been performing for 35 seasons delivering on its mission to promote classical music appreciation and education to a varied and diverse audience, and to contribute to the cultural community of Southern Nevada. With a long tradition of providing free concerts and events to residents throughout the Las Vegas Valley, the HSO provides 11 concerts a year in a variety of venues. Today, the HSO engages over 80 musicians in concert performances, interactive Music 4Kids Concerts, Young Artists Competition, and HSO Conductor Camp.
