DESCRIPTION:Cadence is partnering with the Vegas Vikings Sons of Norway for the first-ever Cadence Holiday Bazaar. The event will be held Saturday\, Dec. 3 from noon to 7 pm at Central Park in Cadence. \nThe Sons of Norway\, from noon until 5 p.m. only\, will host a holiday and Nordic-themed gift tent with hundreds of ornaments\, decorations\, jewelry pieces\, cookbooks\, shirts\, and mugs available for sale at various price points with items sold first-come\, first-served. \nSons of Norway’s 30-foot Viking ship will be on-site for attendees to climb aboard and strike their best Viking pose\, and a Son’s of Norway volunteers will share Norse-kid friendly stories at select times throughout the day. \nAn excellent event for families\, the Cadence Holiday Bazaar will also feature photos with Santa (limited availability and first-come first-served from noon until 2 p.m.)\, photos and meet-and-greet opportunities with Elsa\, Olaf and the Grinch as they stroll around the event\, an opportunity to write and mail a letter to Santa\, outdoor games and activities\, and an evening under the stars viewing of the family favorite film “Frozen\,” which begins at 5 pm. \nLas Vegas Kettle Corn and Sweet Treats Emporium will sell treats throughout the day and adults 21-and-older can enjoy a selection of holiday-themed “adult beverages” for purchase from Constellation Catering. The event is also pet-friendly\, so leashed canine friends are welcome to attend. \n  \n

Additional seating will be provided. \n  \nAbout the Henderson Symphony Orchestra \nThe Henderson Symphony Orchestra’s (HSO) mission is to promote classical music appreciation to a diverse audience\, through performance\, educational outreach\, and artistic collaborations. \nWe believe that classical music is for everyone and we welcome emerging artists\, seasoned professionals\, and lifelong learners from our diverse community to audition for our ensemble. We are committed to the creation of inclusive programs that provide opportunities and break down barriers between people and classical music. \nLed by Music Director Alexandra Arrieche\, the Henderson Symphony Orchestra is the Silver State’s only community symphony orchestra that has been performing for 35 seasons delivering on its mission to promote classical music appreciation and education to a varied and diverse audience\, and to contribute to the cultural community of Southern Nevada.
